While we can understand that the purchase of a new home is exciting, we can also appreciate the myriad of decisions you need to make, the series of appointments you need to meet and the massive amount of information you need to read.
Here are a few things to know to help you through the home-buying process:
Purchasing Your Home
The purchase agreement and various amendments and addenda constitute the legal understanding regarding the purchase of your new home. If you have not already done so, please read the purchase agreement and all attachments carefully. As with any legal agreement, you should also ensure that prior to your possession date, your lawyer has a full copy. Remember to store your agreement in a safe and easily accessible location as you may also need to provide your bank with a copy at the time of your Final Closing Date.
Design Studio Colour Selections
Design Studio Options are the choices you need to make to “finish” your home in the style most suited to you. Some of these “finishes” are flooring (tile or hardwood), cabinetry, paint colour, appliances, and hardware, among others. You will be sent a letter from our Design Studio once we approach the “finish” stage of your home’s construction. Our Design Consultants will then schedule an appointment with you at least one month after your letter is sent out and we highly recommend you visit the Design Studio during “browsing” hours to get a better sense of the options available to you.
Construction of Your Home
