IndyCar Coming to Downtown Markham

The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy will be making its new home in The Remington Group’s Downtown Markham project beginning in 2026 under a multi-year agreement. The NTT INDYCAR SERIES will race through our streets on a brand-new street circuit from August 14–16, 2026 — marking a historic first for our community.

Downtown Markham, already a vibrant hub for business, culture and innovation, will now host one of North America’s premier motorsport events. This world-class experience is expected to draw more than 140,000 fans and generate tens of millions in economic activity through tourism, hospitality, and events.

We are proud to see Downtown Markham serve as the backdrop for this milestone in Canadian motorsport history. The Indy has been an iconic part of Ontario’s summer for nearly four decades, and now it will thrive in a new home — right here in our very own community.
